Introduction

Online role playing games are very popular nowadays, and both Razer and Steelseries have been releasing special RPG and MMO-oriented products for some time, including the Naga and Cataclysm mice. Logitech's G700 mouse already had a lot of buttons, and since June the new G600 MMO Gaming Mouse has been available. It comes with no less than 20 buttons, perfect for games like Diablo III and Guild Wars 2.

The comparison with Razer's Naga mouse is quickly made here, since they look a lot alike. On the left side there are 12 programmable buttons for instant access to spells and other attacks. The G600 is operated in a different way, however, and has more features such as the third mouse button that functions as G-Shift. It temporarily gives all buttons a second function, and the sensitivity can be lowered for improved accuracy.

The lay-out of the buttons is different as well. Unlike the Naga mouse, the 12 buttons on the G600 are divided into two groups which makes their positioning clearer. The colour of their backlight indicates which of the three built-in profiles is selected. You can change the colours into any colour, and you can make them pulse with different colours and intensity.
