Lepa G-Series 1600W review: very powerful PSU

Conclusion

The chance that you really need a 1600W power supply for your PC is slim. If you by chance happened to buy the recently reviewed EVGA SR-X motherboard and put four high-end graphics cards on it, then perhaps this PSU could be an option. You should only buy it if you will actually take advantage of the full 1600 watts, because the tests showed that not only is this PSU quite noisy, but it's far less efficient with lighter loads. For less money you can buy power supplies with a lower maximum capacity that are more efficient at lighter loads.

If you do need 1600 watts, then the Lepa G1600 is a good power supply. Only the high noise level prevents us from giving it an award.
