Test results: CPU performance

The benchmark results show that the Snapdragon S4 processor in the HTX One X used for single-threaded applications is much faster than the other ARM chips with Cortex A9 cores. The dual-core Snapdragon is superior to the quad-core chips both in the single-threaded version of Linpack and in Benchmark PI. In multi-threaded benchmarks the dual-core Snapdragon keeps up with its quad-core competitors quite well. The poor performance of the One S in the Antutu floating point benchmarks stands out.

The quad-core Tegra 4 and Exynos 4412 do perform a little bit better than the dual-core Snapdragon S4. There is not much difference between the two quad-core chips in the CPU benchmarks.
