The Western Digital My Passport 2TB WD20NMVW performance is, as you can see below, just fine. It can be found at the top of most graphs, with only a few models performing even better. The good scores can be explained mostly by the high density platters, but the integrated USB 3.0 controller (and lack of conversion from SATA) is also a reason.
