Sound quality and usage
The Diablo II headset has the same sound quality as the Siberia V2. This means that the USB sound card equals the quality of the Asus Xonar Xense sound card in our test system, which is really good.
The frequency range is 30 Hz to 18,000 Hz, and the sound signature is balanced. Highs are nice and crisp, and the bass is full without drowning out the midrange. The leather earpads lightly dampen ambient sounds, and keep your ears warm without overheating them.
The mic is clear, but sounds a bit colder than we're used to, and unfortunately there is some light noise present. It's not disrupting enough however for us to not recommend this headset. The mute button is a bit difficult to operate as well. The lack of grip means that you have to press quite hard to move it.
The headset is comfortable to wear during longer gaming sessions, and the extra lights and design are a nice addition. The red accents combined with the Diablo III tribal theme make it a pretty cool headset to show off.
