This is a really good NAS. It has an attractive and solid chassis with two USB 3.0 ports on the back, combined with user-friendly firmware. There are enough features, and you have access to add-ons for for download clients such as SABnzbd and Bittorrent. Since this is still a relatively new ARM-platform for Netgear, the number of add-ons will likely grow with time.
The performance of the Netgear ReadyNAS Duo V2 is excellent. If you need a fast NAS and can live with the limitations we mentioned, than we definitely recommend this one. With an appealing price of £124 it earns our Hardware.Info Bronze Award.
