Thanks to this round-up we can conclude that inkjets can be very fast indeed. Both the Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4525 DNF and the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus can hold their own against the laser printers in this test, while the printing cost is kept low. These printers deserve the Hardware.Info Gold Award, with the sidenote that the HP is not the best choice for printing photos.
The Brother and Canon equal each other's performance for the most part and are great all-in-ones, but not quite on the level of the top two. The Brother MFC-J6510DW still earns the Hardware.Info Bronze Award, because you won't find another fully equipped A3 printer at this price.
The Lexmark Pro915 is too slow for small office use. Determining the Silver Award was more difficult, between the two HPs and the Samsung CLX-3185FW. In the end the HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus gets the silver medal, because this excellent all-in-one has slightly more features than the other two, while it equals and sometimes even beats the speed and print quality of the laser printers.
