Benchmarks: Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2

We tested three actual games, Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2, Dirt 3 and Crysis 2. We ran these game benchmarks in two ways. First we used the lowest possible settings, 800x600 on Low, to make sure that the video card isn't a bottleneck and the actual CPU performance gets through. Then we ran the benchmarks on settings used more typically by gamers, 1920x1080 on High. This tells us whether a faster processor has any added benefit for games run in high resolution.

With H.A.W.X. 2 we see that, at low resolution, the new CPUs are indeed faster. We achieved 412 fps with the 3960X and the 3930K isn't far behind. In 1920x1080 the video card becomes a bottleneck, however, and the difference in performance with current processors is negligible.
