At CeBIT Cooler Master showed off two new series of power supplies, including the V series. These new PSUs, available in 700W, 850W and 1000W, use the single-rail approach are are 80 Plus Gold certified. We tested the 1000W model.

EVGA has developed a new power supply, the Supernova 1000 G2. As the name suggests, the new creation offers a 1000 W capacity. It's fully modular and is 80 Plus Gold certified.
The 1000 watts PSU features a single +12V rail which can deliver up to 83.3 amps. EVGA has used Japanese capacitors and a 140 mm 'Double Ball' bearing fan should keep the internals cooled. Var...
