Two early Google Glass adopters have completely taken the device apart to discover which hardware was used. Since the Google Glass is rather compact, it was quite a chore to disassemble, though not impossible. With a simple Torx screwdriver, the hardware could be removed from the glasses.

An analyst claims that Microsoft is developing its own alternative to Google's Project Glass. Google's high-tech glasses will have voice recognition and can display info. Google Glass is the forerunner of 'smart glasses'. Microsoft aims to release its own pair in the first half of 2014. Features of the new device include an internet connection.
