The wireless deskset uses 2.4GHZ FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology together with bandwidth detection technology to avoid any interference between wireless transmissions. The RF-6570 wireless keyboard and mouse combo also offers ultra-low power consumption together with a convenient low-power indicator. When the keyboard is not in use it will automatically switch to power-saving mode, giving the keyboard batteries up to a year of service life. The wireless optical sensor used in the RF-6570 has an Avago high-precision optical sensor that can be switched between a resolution of 1000 or 500dpi, providing the most accurate optical positioning, improved sensitivity and minimal response lag. The RF-6570 optical mouse offers five types of power management scheme Moving, Standby, Rest, Sleep and Deep Sleep. When you are using the mouse, it is set to Moving and when you stop it goes automatically into Sleep mode. If you have not used the mouse for a certain period of time it will enter Deep Sleep mode. During Deep Sleep it will not use any power at all, thus saving battery power.
The keyboard has a traditional arrangement together with the Scissor structure used in advanced notebook computers, which means a ultra-thin and quiet keyboard.
