Ageia announced at GC Developers Conference that Nival Interactive, the international publisher and game developer behind titles like Heroes of Might and Magic V, Night Watch and Blitzkrieg II, has signed a publisher-wide license agreement to use the Ageia PhysX SDK in upcoming games and expansion packs. With licensing of Ageia PhysX technology, Nival developers will be able to create game-specific physics functionality on a deep and customized level.

Nival Interactive games that are developed with the Ageia PhysX SDK will be able to leverage the full power of the Ageia PhysX processor, which delivers never-before-seen physics action in games. The Ageia PhysX processor is available now in game PCs from Dell, Alienware and Falcon Northwest, and on add-in boards from ASUS and BFG Technologies.

"Ageia PhysX technology is the wave of the future for physics-optimized games on all platforms," said Bill Petro, vice president of production at Nival Interactive. "Our PC games in particular will get a tremendous boost in interactivity for gamers that power their PC rigs with the Ageia PhysX processor."

"Nival Interactive is a leading force in the games industry for Eastern Europe, Russia, and across the globe," said Kathy Schoback, vice president of content acquisition at Ageia. "Nival's broad international reach, along with their diversity in game genres and platforms, makes their support for Ageia PhysX technology a valuable asset for Ageia as we expand our markets worldwide."
