Crucial is about to introduce a special version of its Ballistix memory modules, the Ballistix Sport VLP, which stands for Very Low Profile. These are specifically intended to be used with towering CPU coolers that need all the space around the CPU socket that can be had. With relatively fast CL9 timings these modules are meant to combine ease of installation with high performance, fulfilling typical requirements of modern gaming rigs. According to Crucial, these modules have the lowest profile currently available in the market.
Hardware.Info UK was able to sneak a peek through the picture displayed. As you can see the modules are rated as DDR3-1600, using 9-9-9-24 timings and 1.35 volts.
