Xigmatek has launched a new chassis, the Alfar. The Alfar is made of steel, combined with plastic and has a leather/touch finish. The case has dimensions of 195 x 445 x 505 mm and weighs around 6 kilograms. It's compatible with ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, and has room for three 5.25-inch devices.
The front panel has two USB 3.0 connectors, in addition to the audio jacks. Up to four 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch devices can be installed. Two 120 mm fans are bundled for cooling, with room for five more optional fans. Graphics cards have to stay within a length of 32 centimetres, while the height of the CPU-cooler must be kept below 16 centimetres.
The black Xigmatek Alfar has a 50 euro (£40) pricetag and is available with black, orange and white details.
