Last year, Enermax launched the Hoplite chassis. During the CeBIT conference, the manufacturer introduced the Hoplite GT. Enermax has now further expanded the series with the release of the Hoplite ST case. This mid-tower is sized 487 x 200 x 496 mm and has room for graphics cards of up to 403 millimetres in length and CPU coolers with a height of within 167 millimetres.
Two 120 mm fans are bundled to keep the components chilled, with three more slots for fans being available. Through a fan controller on top of the case, the speed of up to three fans can be adjusted. Apart from this controller, Enermax has also installed a docking station with hot-swap functionality, in addition to a USB 3.0 connector. The Hoplite GT has room for four 5.25" devices, and six 2.5" or 3.5" drives.
The black Hoplite ST (ECA3261-B) with blue LED fans is priced around £60, while the white model (ECA3261-W) with white fans, has a £70 pricetag.
