Sapphire has launched a new Radeon HD 7950 equipped with the faster BIOS that AMD has recently released. This makes the card run at a higher clock frequency out of the box, which can be further elevated using the PowerTune Dynamic Boost. The card features a Vapor-X cooler, which takes up at least two slots. The heatsink is equipped with two large fans and a number of heatpipes (2x 8 mm and 2x 6 mm), which should keep the card chilled. A heatspreader on the PCB provides additional cooling to the memory and power design.

Like any other HD 7950, the card has 3 GB of GDDR5 memory, controlled by a 384-bit interface. The chip is clocked at 850 MHz, 50 MHz faster than the original HD 7950. The Turbo mode increases the GPU's clock frequency to 950 MHz, 25 MHz more than AMD's reference. With the bundled TriXX software, the card can be overclocked further and fanspeeds can be adjusted as well.

Sapphire's new graphics card features DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs. The featureset is identical to that of any other HD 7900 series graphics card. The card also has a double BIOS, which will aid users when flashing the card. Prices have yet to be mentioned.
