Razer claims that its latest lime green Kraken Pro headset is the most comfortable headset the manufacturer has made to date. The Kraken Pro is specially designed by and for gamers to wear comfortably for long periods of time. It weighs 293 grams and has soft cushioning on both ear cups, which also provide some ambient noise cancellation. Each ear cup holds a 40 mm neodymium driver, which should provide full-range audio. At 1 kHz, a 32 Ohms impedance is specified, as well as a 110+4 dB sensitivity at 1 kHz and 1 V/Pa. The microphone can be detached from the headset, which reportedly has a Signal-to-Noise ratio of 52 dB. The headset has a 1.3 metre cable, with a 2 metre extension cable being bundled as well.
Razer's Kraken Pro is also available without a microphone, which is simply called the Kraken. The Kraken Pro has a recommended price of €79.99 (£63), while the version without a microphone costs € 59.99 (£47).
