Cooperating with Dospara, Zalman has introduced a new chassis, based on its Z9 Plus. The case has a meshed front panel and two of the old USB 2.0 connectors have been substituted by USB 3.0 ports. Four 120 mm fans are bundled, three of which feature blue LEDs. The fans can be adjusted in speed via a fan controller, which was also present on the previous model. The new case is compatible with micro-ATX and ATX motherboards, and offers room for two 5.25" and up to six 3.5" devices. A single 2.5" hard disk or SSD can also be installed.
Zalman's new Z9PLUS-D IV-U3 is to be launched later this month at a price of $76 (£48).
