Philips' Blade monitors have a characteristic sleek design with a glossy finish, as illustrated by the Blade 2 239C4QHSB. The manufacturer will release 23" and 24" models of the screen, in both black and white versions. Its less than 13 mm thickness, touch sensitive buttons in the stand, and a means to hide the cabling, give the monitor a stylish appearance.

Both models feature LED backlighting. The 23" version has an eIPS panel, while the 24" uses the AMVA technology. The panels, which are also present on some other Philips monitors, should provide an improved contrast and enhanced colour reproduction.

The white 23" 239C4QHSW will be available next month at a recommended price of €229 (£182), the black 24" 249C4QHSB Blade AMVA monitor costs €269 (£213)
