Following the Tytan CG8565, ASUS has introduced a new Republic of Gamers system. This Tytan CG8580-DE001O features an Intel Core i7-3770K processor, an Nvidia GTX 680 and 16 GB of DDR3-1600 memory. ASUS has added two 128 GB SSDs in RAID 0, in addition to a 2 TB SATA 6 Gbit/s hard disk. The system uses ASUS' P8Z77 Pro motherboard and is powered by a 700 watts power supply.

ASUS has added a button to the machine which overclocks it to up to 4.6 GHz. These frequencies can be reached by watercooling the processor and adding multiple fans to the case. Also present is a Xonar soundcard, mouse, keyboard, Blu-ray drive, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and a card reader.

The ASUS RoG Tytan CG8580-DE001O is sized 270 x 500 x 601 mm, weighs roughly 13 kilograms and has a recommended price of €2600 (£2035). Additional information on the system can be found on the Republic of Gamers website.
