MSI has debuted two new laptops, the CX61 and CR61. Both models feature a 15.6" screen and an Ivy Bridge processor. The devices are intended for multimedia enthusiasts and pack the SRS PC Sound technology. A HDMI 1.4 connector is present to attach the notebooks to a Full HD television. MSI has opted for a discrete Nvidia GeForce GT640M graphics card with 2 GB of DDR3 memory. Also present are USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11n WiFi, an integrated webcam, DVD-drive, 5-in-1 card reader, USB 2.0, Gigabit LAN and audio connectors. MSI reports that the notebooks can also be easily updated to Windows 8.
