The Inquirer reports that Dell will release a special version of its XPS 13 Ultrabook soon. The company already had an XPS 13 with Ubuntu available for software developers as part of Project Sputnik, but has plans to release the model to the consumer market now as well.
The XPS 13 with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is expected to be available this fall. As of yet, no details are available on how much the device will cost and in where it will be available. The notebook will be quite a bit cheaper than the standard version, which runs on Windows.
