It seems that motherboard manufacturers are using increasingly diverse colour schemes on their high-end motherboards. Most CPU coolers still have the traditional aluminium colour, and that doesn't really fit with the more colourful motherboards.
Prolimatech has decided to overhaul its Megahalems, a CPU cooler that's been available for a number of years now. Although 88 of the aluminium fins are coloured blue, the top two still feature a chrome finish, with the heatpipes being covered in a nickle coating. The mounting materials have a black finish, with the rest of the cooler remaining untouched. The blue colour should make the new creation match motherboards by manufacturers such as Gigabyte or ASUS. Prolimatech has opted for a blue colour that is almost identical to that used by Gigabyte.
As of yet, it's still unknown when the blue Prolimatech Megahalems Rev. B will be available. The recommended price will be slightly higher than the $70 (£45) of the regular model.
