More details on Colorful's GTX 670 with Bionic Shark cooler

Last week, Colorful showed off its Shark Bionic cooler, which was specially designed for use with Nvidia's GeForce GTX 670 graphics card. Since then, more details have surfaced on the card which will feature the cooler, called the GTX 670 iGame Flame Ares X.

The new creation features a GK104-325-A2 core with 1344 CUDA cores, 112 texture units, 32 ROPs and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. The GPU is clocked at 915 MHz, with a specified boost frequency of 967 MHz. The GDDR5 memory has an effective clock speed of 6 GHz, combined with a 256-bit interface. Colorful has opted for a 6+2 phase power design, 6 for the GPU and 2 for the memory. Four video outputs are available, in the form of HDMI, DisplayPort and dual DVI. The Shark Bionic cooler has a copper baseplate, two fans and nine 6 mm heatpipes, which can be expanded with the Air-Kit module. Lastly, a 'one-key overclocking' feature is present.

Colorful has yet to announce a price and release date of its GTX 670 iGame Flame Ares X.
