Gigabyte has silently released a second revision of the AMD Radeon HD 7700 card. The first version of the card, which is called GV-R7770OC-1GD, has a core clock frequency of 1100 MHz, with an effective memory speed of 5 GHz. The second revision has the same product code, but will have lower clock frequencies of 1050 MHz for the core and 4500 MHz for the memory. Despite lowering the clock frequencies, the card is still priced the same as the first version.

In order to avoid disappointment, potential buyers might want to check what it says on the box to ensure they purchase the right version of the card.

The box reveals the clock frequencies of the first (1100 MHz) and second (1050 MHz) revision
