AOC's new 60ID line of monitors features an LED backlight and ranges in size from 19-inch to 24-inch models. The matte black finish of the brushed aluminium bezels should make the screens fit into every household. AOC has specified a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a 250 cd/m2 brightness. Response times of 2 ms and 5 ms (gray-to-gray) are mentioned.
Naturally, power consumption is dependent on the screen diagonal, as the smallest 19-inch model uses 26 watts, while the 24-inch monitor has a 42 W TDP. AOC's 19-inch 60ID monitor has a 1440x990 pixel resolution, the larger models have Full HD panels. The more luxurious monitors have a USB hub with four USB 2.0 connectors and integrated stereo speakers. Video inputs consist of DVI-D and HDMI. AOC has equipped its 60ID monitors with Ionic Breeze, a high voltage ioniser which should purify the air around the workspace.
