Sharkoon has announced the DarkGlider gaming mouse. The mouse has an ergonomic grip and a rubber coating. An ADNS-9500 laser sensor should provide a precision of up to 6000 dpi (11.750 fps). The resolution is shown on an LCD screen, integrated in the mouse. Sharkoon claims a maximum acceleration of up to 30G, combined with a response time of under 1 millisecond.

Its five ceramic feet should minimize friction, thus allowing the mouse to move smoothly. Five teflon feet are also bundled. The DarkGlider is equipped with two dpi-switch buttons, in addition to three extra programmable buttons. 256 Kilobyte of internal memory is present, on which five profiles can be stored. The bundled software can be used not just to change the DPI, but also to change the polling rate and sensitivity of the mouse. The frequency, colour and intensity of the illuminated logo can also be set.

The weight of the DarkGlider mouse can be varied, thanks to four 3.1 grams, and four 3.7 grams weights. The maximum weight of the mouse is roughly 150 grams. The 6-foot long cable has a gilded USB-connector. Sharkoon's DarkGlider mouse comes with a carrier bag.

The DarkGlider gaming mouse should be available shortly at a recommended price of €39.99 (£32).
