During Computex, Lian Li showcased an enormous chassis, called PC-D8000. The case offers room to dual power supplies, up to twenty hard disks and five 5.25-inch devices. Of the twenty 3.5" slots, six feature hotswap functionality.
Lian Li's PC-D8000 is sized 405 x 628 x 572 millimetres and supports E-ATX and HTPX form factor motherboards. More commonly-sized boards such as the ATX and micro-ATX models can also be used. The case has eleven PCI slots for expansion cards, and is cooled by a 140 mm and three 120 mm fans. The front panel features four USB 3.0 connectors, in addition to the audio jacks. To simplify transportation, Lian Li has added small wheels.
The PC-D8000 will be released this fall at a still undisclosed price.
