Corsair has expanded its popular Vengeance line of memory with a dual-channel kit of 16 GB. The modules have a 1600 MHz frequency at a 1.5 V voltage. Hardware enthusiasts may recognise the kit, as it has been available for some time now. Corsair has improved the timings however; while the 'old' kit had timings of 10-10-10-27, the new version has a 9-9-9-24 latency. Like its predecessor, support for Intel XMP v1.3 is present.
The design has remained the same, featuring the familiar Vengeance heatspreaders. It's not unlikely that an LP (low profile) version will also be released at a later time. The memory kit has a recommended price of $135 (£87).
