WIth Hauppauge's new MyTV 2GO-m, you can watch and record television on your iPad, iPad 2 and iPhone 4S devices. The 30-pin dock connector transforms Apple's device into a TV with which uncoded DVB-T broadcasts can be watched. Hauppauge claims that the solution is ideal for on vacation and watching sports events like Euro 2012, the Tour de France and the Olympics. An electronic programme guide (EPG) is also available through the device, without requiring a subscription.
The Hauppauge MyTV 2GO-m is sized 30 x 51 x 12 millimetres and has a flexible antenna to keep the device small. The integrated battery should last up to 7 hours. The device is supported on iOS 4.3 and up and installation requires a free app.
The Hauppauge myTV 2GO-m has a recommended price of €100 (£81).
