TechPowerUp reports that apart from the two socket FM2 motherboards, Sapphire also has a mini-ITX board in the works. As the name suggests, the Pure Platinum Z77i uses the Z77 Express chipset, offering support to LGA 1155 processors. Its compact size makes the board suited for users that wish to create a small, yet powerful system.

The motherboard is powered through a 24-pin ATX and 4-pin CPU connector. A 4-phase power design is used, which should be sufficiently powerful for processors at reference frequencies or with a small overclock.

Also present is a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot and two memory slots, which support up to 16 GB of DDR3 memory. For storage devices, two SATA 6 Gbit/s and two SATA 3 Gbit/s connectors are placed on the board. The I/O panel features DVI, D-Sub, HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs, in addition to 4x USB 3.0, 7.1 audio and Gigabit LAN. Bluetooth is present for wireless networking.

As of yet, no details are available regarding price and availability of Sapphire's Pure Platinum Z77i motherboard.
