Bitfenix Shinobi XL now available in white

Early this year, Bitfenix launched its Shinobi XL chassis, which is now also available in white. The new case is, outside of the colour, identical to the existing black Shinobi XL. This means that there's room for large motherboards with nine PCI slots, as well as plenty of hard disks and watercooling. To keep the internals chilled, Bitfenix has placed two large 230 mm fans in the case, one oaf which is situated on the front, and the other in the top panel. By replacing these for 120 mm fans, room for a radiator opens up. The top of the case could hold a 360 mm radiator, while a 240 mm model can be placed on the bottom. If the hard disk bay is removed, another 360 mm radiator can be positioned in the front. The case has five 5.25" bays and seven removable trays for 3.5" and 2.5" hard disks.

The Bitfenix Shinobi XL has a minimalistic exterior. Its I/O front panel has four USB 3.0 ports, a SuperCharge USB connector which delivers 2.5x the power of a regular port and two audio connectors. The case will also be available with a windowed side panel. Like the black Shinobi XL, the white version comes with dust filters for all fans. At the moment, the case is exclusively available through the German website Casekings.de, although more shops will soon follow. The white Shinobi XL has a recommended price of €139.90 (£113) and €149.90 (£121) for the version with a windowed side panel.
