G.Skill plans to break as many overclock records as it possibly can next week, during the Taiwanese Computex conference. In order to achieve this, the manufacturer has invited top notch overclockers from across the globe, including Sweden, the US and Japan. A wide range of motherboards will be used, such as a Z77 and X79 motherboard by MSI, a Z77 ASUS motherboard, a X79 EVGA board and lastly, a Gigabyte Z77 motherboard. Naturally, most overclockers will favour one brand over another.
As such, every day on the Computex floor, a new brand of motherboards will be used, accompanied by a new overclocker. The Swiss Hiwa and Australian Young Pro, G.Skill's own overclockers, will be present throughout the entire event. Together they will make an effort to reach the highest scores. The used hardware will include G.Skill's own TridentX DDR3 modules. An overview below shows the invitees, as well as their Computex schedule.
