The new Hercules XPS 41 is a speaker system inspired by the design of the earlier XPS 101 set. The two satellite speakers have a distinct round shape and combine a glossy finish on the top with a rubber coating on the stands. The cube-shaped subwoofer has a lycra finish and plastic top.
The satellites feature broadband speakers and the wood subwoofer has a speaker on the front and a bass opening on its bottom. The XPS 41 is bundled with a wired remote, featuring regulators for volume and bass, a mute button, headphone connector and an additional line-in (aux) port, to attach mp3 players, phones or tablets. The RMS output is specified at 41 W (2x 8.5 W +24 W) with a peak power of 82 W and a frequency range of 40-20,000 Hz.
Hercules' new XPS 41 set will hit shelves late June and bears a pricetag of € 99.99 (£80).
