Sony has introduced the CMT-V50iP, a new and portable hi-fi system with integrated dock for Apple products such as the iPhone, iPod and even the iPad. Furthermore, the USB interface allows you to play music from your flash drive, MP3 player or phone. Sony has equipped the new hi-fi system with a CD player as well.

A NASA-developed magnetic fluid technology is supposed to provide the best sound quality, while the damperless design allows the speakers to be more compact while keeping distortion to a minimum. Especially in the mid and high range should this technology improve the sound clarity, according to Sony.

Sony's CMT-V50iP will be launched in June 2012 and is to cost around £165.
