Sitecom has introduced the WL-355 Wireless Network TV Media Player, which allows movies, music and images that are stored on a hard disk, USB stick or local network, to be played directly on your television in HD-resolution (1080p)

An external hard disk can be connected using one of two USB 2.0 ports, while the second USB-port can be used for the bundled Wireless Dual-Band Adapter, after which media can be streamed wirelessly over the standard 2.4 or less crowded 5 GHz-band. The player supports most conventional filetypes.

The TV Media Player is DLNA-certified, providing easy access to content stored on other UPnP AV (Universal Plug and Play Audio and Video) devices in the network, such as a Home Storage Center, desktop PC or notebook. Files can also be streamed without requiring an additional computer.

On average, the WL-355 costs 145 euro.
