Freecom has introduced the Network Storage Center, intended for small and middle-sized companies in need of network storage. The 3.5-inch network hard disk has a storage capacity of up to 2 TB. The device allows files to be shared, downloaded, and accesed from anywhere, using SMB, TCP/IP and FTP.

The second product Freecom has introduced is the Network Media Center. The difference between both devices is that the latter is specifcally designed for video, images and music files. The Network Media Center is aimed towards home users. The device features an integrated BitTorrent client that allows files to be downloaded and shared throughout the network. It is also possible to create users and protect them with passwords, allowing you to create your own space on the player.

Both devices are sized 155 x 148 x 43 mm and feature an aluminum chassis. According to Freecom, they can be easily added to existing networks. To do so, the device needs to be connected to a router or switch, after which the installation software needs to be run on a network-attached system.
