NZXT has announced yet another chassis. The new 'Hades' case is aimed towards gamers and overclockers. The chassis features two 200mm intake fans, as well as additional 120mm and 140mm coolers in respectively the rear- and top of the case. The top already sports a 140mm cooler; a second one is optional. The two 200 mm fans are powered by a two-channel fancontroller with an 8 watt capacity. At maximum speed the two 200mm fans suck in up to 150 CFM of fresh air each.
The Hades chassis has a warped appearance with curved lines, large meshes and a black finish. The inside of the case also sports the black colour. A gap has been left for easy access to the rear of the CPU socket. With dimensions between those of a mid-tower and a full-tower case, up to nine 5,25" bays are available. Some of these are in use by the 3,5" harddisk bay, which offers room for up to four drives. NZXT has also added space for two 2,5" SSD's.
The new chassis is roomy enough to accomodate for the largest of graphics cards, including AMD's new Radeon HD5970. To allow for cable management, several holes have been made around the motherboard. The top of the case has also been prepared for the installation of a watercooling radiator. NZXT's Hades is to be available soon and bears a recommended pricetag of 89,99 dollar.
