The German website pcgameshardware has reported on the rumor stating the introduction of ATI's Radeon HD 5770 card will be pushed forward. This graphics card is to bring DirectX 11 support to the mainstream price segment and is based on the 40 nm Junipe chip. Allegedly, the Radeon HD 5770 is to be released on the 12th of October, while earlier reports mentioned the 23th of October, simultaneous with the release of Windows 7.

Though official specifications remain unknown for now, the card is rumored to feature 56 texture mapping units (TMU's), 1120 shader units and GDDR5-memory. There's also speculation on whether the card will have a 192- or a 320-bits interface. The American pricetag is specified at about 199 dollar, compared to 379 dollar for the high-end Radeon HD 5870 graphics card.
