GlacialTech launches the GlacialPower AX950A power supply with a 950 Watt capacity. The ATX PSU uses a modular design and is meant for demanding users. The AX950A has two +12V rails and +5Vsb (5 volt standby) functionality. The components are kept cool by a 140 mm fan.
The manufacturer states that the GP-AX950A is designed with active power factor correction (PFC). Japanese Eletronic capacitors are used, ensuring a longer lifetime and improved stability. In terms of efficiency, the power supply features an 80Plus Silver certificate.
GlacialTech provides a three-year warranty with its AX950A power supply. Pricing and availability have not yet been disclosed.
