Scythe launches its first 2.0 speakerset, branded Kro Craft. Apart from that, the company also introduces the Kama Bay AMP Kro amplifier, which can be used in combination with the aforementioned speakerset. With the two new products, Scythe aims at the music enthusiasts who expect decent performance at a relatively low cost. The black wooden speakers contain a 100 mm aluminum concave woofer and a 25 mm tweeter for the highs. The speakerset has a maximum power of 2 x 20 Watt with an 8 Ohm impedence. The set is claimed to have a frequency range from 58 Hz up to 20 kHz. The speakers can be connected by means of gilded connectors and so-called "Banana" plugs.

The matching Kama Bay AMP Kro has dimensions of 152 x 113 x 41 mm (W*D*H) and weighs 2,9 kilograms. The audio processing is handled by a Yamaha YDA 138(D-3) IC. The amplifier a maximum output of 2 x 10 Watt and its front panel contains a headphone output, I/O-switch and a volume knob. The outputs of the amplifier are also gilded to increase signal quality.

The Scythe Kro Craft speakerset and the Scythe Bay Amp Kro will both be released on wednesday, the 19th of August and each feature an RRP of € 42. The combination of both products, the Kro Craft Speaker PLUS, can also be purchased then and has a pricetag of € 79.
