Images that have recently appeared on a Greek forum seem to show a till-then unknown Akasa graphisc card cooler, branded Freedom Force Universal. The cooler is compatible with all recent (single-GPU) graphics cards, including those from AMD's Radeon HD 4000 series and nVidia's GeForce GTX 200 line-up. Also supported are several older models. It's expected that Akasa's new addition will be available in a month, featuring a pricetag of about €30.

Akasa's Freedom Force consists of a full copper base, with four heatpipes to transfer the heat to two aluminum cooling blocks. Each of these blocks has a 92 mm (2200 RPM) fan with white LEDs placed on them. The cooler is sized 190 x 107,5 x 55 mm, weighs 440 grams and comes with nine cooling pads for the graphics memory.

According to the specifications, graphics cards equipped with Akasa's Freedom Force cooler should operate significantly more silent than when they would use reference coolers. An overview of the supported graphics cards can be found on the diagram below:
