Though Auzentech's low-profile X-Fi Forte 7.1 soundcard has been on the market for a while already, there were no drivers supporting surround sound with DTS Connect. The company has solved this problem by releasing a new driver.
The Auzen X-Fi Forte Driver RC3 is compatible with both the 32-bit and 64-bit of Windows Vista. Apart from the added DTS support, the new driver also fixes several bugs and brings a few speed improvements. A remarkable fact is that the new driver package is over 200 MB in size, compared to the 13 MB of the earlier version.
The program can be downloaded from Auzentech's website. Users of Windows XP are still unable to use the newer DTS-support version of the driver.
