Samsung is planning to release the NC20 netbook in a few weeks. The laptop will be the successor of the company's earlier NC10 model. Specifications have already been leaked, as can be seen below. Earlier news showed us that the NC20 will be based on a VIA platform, using VIA's Nano processor with a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz. The NC10 was based on Intel's Atom processor, but due to the fact that VIA's Nano platform is more efficient per Hz, it is not remarkable that Samsung has made this decision.
A new thing is that the NC20 can not only be equipped with a 160 GB hard disk, but with a Solid State Disk (SSD) as well. The netbook will also feature a 6-cell Lithium-ion battery and will be sized 292 x 217 x 26 mm (LxWxH).
The netbook is likely to be launched in February.
